Anshu Siripurapu is a Georgetown Law student and a former journalist. He was most recently the economics writer/editor for the Council on Foreign Relations.

Previously, Anshu was a reporter for Inside U.S. Trade, widely recognized as a leading publication covering U.S. and international trade policy. He began his career as an intern for McClatchy DC and the Sacramento Bee reporting primarily on California politics and policy. He enjoys writing about policy and the people affected by it.

Anshu holds a bachelor’s degree in political economy from the University of Southern California and was the editor of the university’s student newspaper, the Daily Trojan.

In his free time, Anshu enjoys swimming, singing, playing chess and piano, and hanging out with his cat Audrey, an orange tabby.
